Highs and Lows

Pros

The co_workers are one of the best elements of the job. Whether you need someone to cover your shift, or just lighten the mood on a really long/boring/exhausting day, they're always a treat. Also, since the company provides most of the restaurants/cafeteria's on my college campus, I can eat for free at half the restaurants on campus.

Cons

The pay is sh*tty. Minimum wage sh*tty. However, they do yearly raises based on your performance for the year. But, honestly- who could keep up a +A work ethic for an entire year? Also, the hours suck. Even if you're barely scheduled for about 20 hours a week (tops), it'll STILL feel like working full-time. Especially if you're a student. The schedules are made 2 weeks in advance, so you're responsible to keep your schedule open for that day- no matter what. Unless you've got an overnight job, it's impossible to keep two jobs while working here.

Good Opportunity for Culinarians

Pros

No Holidays or Weekends for most positions, paid vacation, mostly morning positions. I've had the opportunity to go to different locations within the company and work and/or transfer. Competitive wages for my field. Only been with the company two years but love it.

Cons

Hiring process is longer than most, due to multiple interviews, drug test and clearances. If working for school district locations, no vacation pay. You receive unemployment with long holidays and summer but is not as much as normal paycheck.

Pros

The pay is pretty good, exciting and fun people to work with, very fast paced, very nice and clean environment to work in

Cons

The Management isn't organizedat all, sometimes you have to work extra hard and fast to pick up the slack of other's because they are lazy and don't care, it's hard to really move up in the company
