      No leadership, no direction, no lessons learned.

      There used to be a lot of potential. Good gym. Free Coffee.

      Let's start with the CEO and work down. He is not only an arrogant person and horrible to deal with - but he surrounds himself with a bunch of "yes-men" [and 22 year old women] to convince him that he's brilliant and doing the right thing. The last 4 years have been full of failed endeavors that have nothing to do with our core business. We have probably spent several hundred million dollars on projects that haven't made a dime. Not to mention anyone put on those "products" was immediately promoted (read: costing more money) and then subsequently fired (when 20% of the company got laid off this year). The only stakeholder in any project is the CEO and that's not a way to create enterprise-grade software - You spend your entire day thinking about how to please "Mike" for your next demo when you know all he is going to do is bark for an hour in an aimless, mindless rant. He has no idea what he is doing right now. So - If you're in the business of having 0 talent, constantly sucking up, name dropping, taking credit for others work, and having a personal chef make all your lunches - then the executive team at MSTR is right for you! By the way - when the chef then brings the extra "scraps" from lunch down to the commoners it's just another sick metaphor for how this place is run.

      Just when you thought it can't get worse....

      Pros

      In general, the core employees are great people to know and work with. There is a core of people who are probably only not looking for other jobs because of the people they work with.

      Cons

      So, If your a finance employee, the bomb just dropped that your job might be shipped to the Polish Office within the next year. Just when you think things might be turning for the better, your a fool for not already looking for a new job. The CXO Team is Narcissistic. The New CFO claims to want to be transparent but.. well no. Also, Usher, total invasion of privacy - all employees need to download it to your smart phone. Be smart and use an old ipod instead.

      Pros

      It used to be a great company until I'd say 2013 when the CTO was replaced and the COO was fired. There's still some good talent left but they are leaving by the dozens every month. There is a great amount of care at the lower levels.

      Cons

      The company has gone downhill at an unbelievable speed and has lost several thousands of knowledge years with people leaving in masses. There is very little IQ left and that explains the lack of vision across all business units. All the good guys that mistreated so badly are now taking names and kicking butt at competitors' shops and other successful local companies being run by former MSTR execs.
