Pros

Remote Support Available, no need to meet anyone.

Cons

Low team morale, management that cannot help guide you. Literally asking for people to help you and no one response. Too high volume with too little staff to manage realistic and healthy expectations. Also in desperate need of a diversity coach. No diversity at Miles Technolgies. Typically all white males with sprinkles of the 1 token black or Hispanic person on a single Team. Don't worry, they are not in management either.

The careers we offer are challenging, yet all of our employees only work between 40 and 50 hours per week on average. Our salaries are competitive,and the average annual salary increases are 2 to 3 times the national average. Of course, these increases are for merit, and not everyone experiences the same increases in salary. Furthermore, even though many of our employees are salaried and exempt from the requirement to be paid overtime, in most cases, we elect to pay overtime to them anyway. Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Your post on Glassdoor is anonymous, yet I am confident you and I met through our recruiting process, orientation, and other business interactions. Pros

You get to work on new things constantly Most coworkers are friendly and helpful if you're having issues You can go on quarterly outings which is a nice break

Cons

You're not going to get paid at the level you should here There are no sick days all your days are lumped together and you don't get many of them Some policies apply to some but not others and aren't clear cut Performance reviews give you no real idea of how to advance

Pros

Great learning environment, lots of opportunities to advance your knowledge ( at least in the beginning). Free meals (you have to cook them yourself), friendly people. Basketball court, volleyball court, ping-pong .

Cons

Shady management, people disappearing , reminds Henry Selick's Coraline story.
