      The most disorganized MSP I've ever seen

      Pros

      Fully remote options. Easy to earn extra PTO

      Cons

      Ridiculously disorganized. SOP's in place seem to go out of their way to make things difficult for both customers and employees. Departments are downright hostile to each other under pressure. Upper management is very out of touch and stress trickles down.

      Good Coworkers - Upper Management/Pay Disconnect

      Pros

      - Flexibility with where physically you work + Flex Time - Supportive coworkers on same pay/class bracket as you - Continual attempts to improve diversity in teams by company as a whole

      Cons

      - Underpays their employees, then says that they pay standard wages on Glassdoor, or blames employees for not asking for more. - Monthly updates by CEO pressure for growth and place responsibility of lack of pay on employees - Immediate management is sympathetic to company wide issues, but it feels like the C Suite of the company is completely disconnected from the daily life/struggles of the working class of the company

When people build their career with us, they experience many raises in their salary and continue to have a competitive salary as they advance their skill sets. The cost of living varies greatly in different areas. Being a largely remote company with employees across the country (and around the globe) we set our salary ranges to a national average. The goal for our monthly "Good News Updates" is to celebrate our growth and successes as a company and to keep employees informed of news within Miles IT. Our intention is not to place blame, but to acknowledge that we are a team and every employee takes part in making us a great company.

      Great IT teams and tools but lacks elsewhere

      Pros

      Teamwork is great and most techs are very insightful and supportive of any questions you throw at them. IT teams have great support structure within them help each other improve. Almost always respectful of needed time off.

      Cons

      Low pay, no incentives to push forward or stay motivated, minimal benefits outside typical company standards i.e. health insurance, 401k, PTO. Upper management seems to only care about report numbers. Rules and policies constantly changing. No progress made on on call system. No real bonuses for workers at least in support. Used to be a bit more relaxed in this aspect but over my three years and now my fourth, it feels more micro-managed than ever before.
