Pros

The ability to learn and advance from within - When I started over a decade ago, I started as a entry level helpdesk. Every year or so I was able to advance roles and even change divisions until I found the job that was perfect for me. I like the autonomy - While things are generally processed based, there is a lot of autonomy throughout the day in your approach to problems and scheduling. I have enjoyed every employee I have ever had to work closely with. I feel you will learn more within 1 year at this company than many other places will learn in five. Living remote has allowed me to embrace the life I want.

Cons

There are high standards and expectations but they are very clearly defined. There is always a lot to learn and it might be overwhelming to some but I have always enjoyed the challenges.

Pros

Great for learning new skills and boosting your career. I loved my manager he was very helpful and insightful. Good benefits and they encourage you and even pay you to get certs which is great for someone new.

Cons

The amount of tickets, chats, calls, and complex issues coming in is like a waterfall. Its like working at a sweat shop of IT issues. It was difficult to get help from other techs not because they weren't willing but because everyone on the team was being bombarded. For how little they are paying techs the work is very complex and nonstop. They also meticulously QA every ticket. So you might solve an extremely complex issue and the client is super grateful but you will get a low score if you didn't respond correctly or in the right time. I get the purpose of this but its just way too strict.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Most of the people who build long-term careers at our company thrive on our bustling environment and prefer that to a slower pace. I understand this is not for everyone. In addition, our managers advocate for their teams and we've recently updated our metrics so our goals are attainable and sustainable. *Professional and friendly environment *Feels like the company has your back - they are tactful and effective at dealing with customers who act unprofessionally or create undue stress for staff *Senior team members are great mentors for learning more about your discipline *Constantly being challenged, but always with someone there to help if needed *Company invests in employee growth and well-being *Good work/life balance and a belief that some things, like family, need to come before work

Cons

*Feels like there needs to be better collaboration and communication between members on different teams/in different divisions on a regular basis
