Pros

Free coffee and not much else

Cons

I really feel bad for anyone that works in the Indianapolis office (especially in PRM). I hope you find a better job somewhere else.

Pros

- Free coffee That's pretty much it. There isn't much else to say about this company. Medinsight is quickly on its way out of the game...

Cons

- Like another reviewer mentioned, pay is garbage - Bad culture - Insane hours - Lots of gossip - They have "forgotten" to pay me several times even though I am set up with direct deposit. - Milliman tends to throw its money at the wrong things - They advertise a flashy bonus in your offer letter that is "up to 20% of your salary" but that is very, very false. Execs and principals are the only ones that get bonuses in that range. Coincidentally, they're the ones who decide who gets bonuses and how much.... hmmm Everybody else is lucky to get 3-4% and that's if they get good reviews. If you do average, you get 0% bonus.

High compensation & uncomfortable work environment

Pros

> Money. They will pay well and will pay more if you are liked by your boss. > Potential career growth, again, if you get lucky with your boss. There are many decent people with deep industry knowledge, but the motto is "get your job done to impress the client". Employee growths might not come first.

Cons

> Long hours, which you get paid for in money, but not in happiness (yes, long hours of work can ruin your relationships with friends outside work, family, and your significant other. Also your health will be ruined. I saw younger workers prematurely going gray, and getting stress induced sickness. Work Life balance is tilted toward Work by... a lot.) > Hostile work environment for women, LGTB, and certain ethnicity. They have a fancy women's day celebration banquet every year, yet don't do much to stop sexual harassment in the office, or worse, the repeat offenders are often left unpunished. > People here work long hours, therefore spending too much time with each other, inevitably there become certain" family" feuds, gossips, > Some people here in top have a lot of money. The culture of junior employees worshiping the power and mostly money that the top leader possesses is almost like a cult. (But I guess "worshiping the rich" culture is not limited here). Sad to see the general human value is reduced down to how much dollar amount you generate.
