      Pros

      Flexible working, great office environment, lots of room to progress and many opportunities to learn (not only about the product, but other soft skills and languages), good benefits and salaries. Mimecast has a great team of people working in the London office that makes it a pleasure to go to work everyday.

      Cons

      I have observed that some of the management in other teams (not mine, thankfully) tend to micromanage and expect people to be at their desks all the time otherwise they assumed to not be working or as productive, which is silly considering the company is trying to take a more flexible approach to working.

      Pros

      The leadership team at Mimecast is truly one of a kind - there is a very open door policy here and they are always available to support the rest of the organization. The culture - Free Lunch! Team outings, office rallies, very open and cool office space - it is an incredibly collaborative environment. The product portfolio and market presence is a major, major pro - the customer retention and growth is incredibly high, because the product WORKS.

      Cons

      Over the years there have been typical growing pains from pre-IPO to IPO, but nothing major. I really can't think of one con.

      Pros

      The culture at Mimecast is fantastic, everyone is friendly and there is a great social scene. There is lots of great talent so it is good to work with people I respect and can learn from. I am in sales and the products are brilliant, we have a customer retention rate of 98% so it is nice to believe in the products I sell and deliver great customer experience. The company is growing so I feel there is lots of room to grow and develop both personally and in my career

      Cons

      The great culture stems from people being in the office... I think if you work at a large corporation that are really flexible meaning you can work from home a lot and get in when you want, this probably isn't the company for you. It is quite strict in terms of working hours. We are expected to be in by 8.30am and finish at 6pm. I like working from the office but it would be nice if they were a bit more flexible. Also the pension is not great, they only contribute 1%.
