      Very Fortunate to be a Mimecaster

      Pros

      Great culture, flexibility, products keep getting better. Mimecast is in a good spot as our big competitor continues to slip. As a seller in the field, I have the ability to own my franchise and do what it takes to close business, develop partner relationships and work with the ecosystem partners. Have had a great experience with other sales reps and managers supporting me and working as a team.

      Cons

      Can be a little tough being outside from HQ in Lexington, but that's with any org. Also, some teams can be disjointed but this is improving with more collaboration among sales, marketing, development, etc.

      Best place I've ever worked

      Pros

      Great culture, work/life balance, products and company vision. The executive team is made up of some of the most humble and hard working people I've ever met. People genuinely care about each other here. Most places you feel like just a number, but not here.

      Cons

      Lexington is a tricky spot to commute to.

      Okay place to get your start but long term payoff is minimal

      Pros

      Upper level management does encourage and support the BDR team through various means. “Fun” atmosphere. The CEO is a great man.

      Cons

      Very clique based and office politics are very much a real thing. Likes to think of themselves as a startup “vibe” company which is far from the truth. They also underpay internal hires compared to external hires.
