Long hours without additional compensation, senior leadership that constantly changes course and doesn't know what it wants, stressful work environment with unreasonable deadlines and scope of work that consistently explodes as projects progress. The culture and core values have been eroded by a bevy of executives brought in from other corporate environments. The prevailing modus operandi is very top-heavy: multiple, multiple approvers to get anything done, leaving "front line" team members with their hands tied.

I was either hired for a role I was unqualified for or I was given a workload that was unreasonable. Either way, I felt isolated and stressed most of the time and no one seemed to care when I’d share this. I was told to just put my head down and work harder, but I had no guidance on how to do some things (even though I regularly asked for help). Ultimately, the morale in the company tanked over 2023, people left after the initial layoff and then we were all asked to do more with less. This left those who needed the stronger people on their team to help them flapping in the wind.
