Pros

I've worked at Mindex for a few years now and have had a great experience overall. The company is professional and does it's best to provide support to all employees. One thing that really stood out is the level of support I've received from my recruiter. She was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, not just during my hiring process but throughout my time at Mindex. The communication from the team has always been clear, and I appreciate the transparency and honesty. There’s a real effort to match employees with roles that suit their skills and goals, and I've felt well-aligned in my projects. Overall, Mindex is a great company to work for if you're looking for a great environment, interesting work, and people who actually care.

Cons

I was really disappointed by how the recent layoffs were handled. There was a clear lack of communication. No transparency, no clear updates, and a lot of uncertainty. Information trickled out inconsistently, and it often felt like employees were left in the dark until the last minute. That uncertainty created a stressful environment and made it difficult to trust leadership during a critical time. Just do better and have management be more clear and transparent

Thank you for your thoughtful and balanced review. We're glad to hear that you've had a positive experience at Mindex overall, and especially that you’ve felt supported, well-matched to your work, and connected to your recruiter and team. We also hear your concerns about our recent communications. Your feedback has been shared with our directors. We acknowledge that we fell short in how we communicated and are actively working to improve how we handle sensitive situations in the future. If you're open to sharing more, we encourage you to reach out to your HR partner or your manager directly.

Pros

Organization allows remote work, and you get opportunities to work on a diverse tech stack mostly.

Cons

During crisis leadership would pass on the blame and never really work to improve the situation. Mostly company wants to be perceived as a great place to work, but never really puts in mechanisms to ensure work and work life improves. Will never get feedback, and promotions and salary increased are slim. I did read the company feedback on the recent layoffs, scuttle butt is more will come.

Pros

- Workers/teams are predominantly remote

Cons

- Very recent layoffs (i was impacted) as they replace local devs with the cheapest, most inexperienced offshore workers possible - Constant strict deadlines with incompetent leaders and planning, resulting in nigh constant compulsory overtime - Under market salaries - Utterly abysmal work-life balance - Managers, HR, etc. will *say* all the right things, but every word is hollow - Zero opportunity for internal growth unless you're a manager being bumped up to a different kind of manager - IT/tech support so inept it's hard to tell if they've ever actually used computers - They actively encourage dev teams (both engineers and otherwise) to NOT think or ask questions, and penalize, harrass, and eventually lay off those that do think, innovate, or question (despite overworking them exponentially more than their teammates in order to make their absurd deadlines) Listing everything would require a full article, instead, do yourself a favor and move on to the next place in your queue Avoid at all costs.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear you left feeling this way. While this is not the kind of feedback we hope to receive, we take it seriously. We recognize that recent organizational changes have been difficult, especially for those directly impacted. At Mindex, we are committed to treating all employees with respect and fairness, and we regret if that didn’t come through in your experience. We acknowledge that we’re not perfect—no company is—and we are continually working to improve how we support our teams, manage projects, and foster a culture where people feel valued and heard. We appreciate your candor and wish you all the best in your next opportunity.
