A seven-years review!

Pros

I joined the company seven years ago, and it seems like it was yesterday. What made me stay: - The job environnement stills stimulate me: there are loads of technical and business challenges. - I love to work with my colleagues: those became real friends really quickly. - I feel highly valuated for what I do in the company Concerning the management: My direct manager is really open to discussion, and everything I tell him is taking under real consideration. When a problem occurs, we always find solution. Concerning the top management: Because they are co-funders, Philippe and Adrien really know their product and their company. They invest a lot in new life-changing features, and also in technical project to maintain top quality platforms.

Cons

It is not that easy to balance my time between my life and work. Mirakl is challenging: this comes with advantages and inconvenience.

Pros

The comfort and well-being of employees is what comes to mind when I think of Mirakl. The company really cares about people and you can feel it in many ways. We feel that the quality of the work done by your colleagues is very high and it is very rewarding. Projects are really challenging it's good to be part of a fast-growing company. You can say you're proud it's French/European tech-oriented startup. Flexibility when it comes to office hours and remote work.

Cons

You can feel a corporate atmosphere sometimes with a lot of meetings that can slow-down work or generate fatigue.

Pros

It is the Champion's League of tech - you partner with SAP, Adobe, Salesforce, McKinsey, Accenture and many-many other top players in consulting and delivery to amaze owners, investors, board members of Fortune 500 companies, oldest brands in the world, national and regional monopolists, hidden champions and those who will dominate eCommerce space in 5 years. It is extremely exciting, you get to learn new things every day and the whole company works as a finely-tuned global team. Best people, best culture and best working tools I have ever experienced.

Cons

The only possible downside is the amount of work. Forget about 9 to 5 or even 8 to 6, forget about "structuring the week", as new challenges and possibilities are coming up every 2-3 hours and you have to constantly ask yourself "Am I doing the absolutely most important thing to get to the result as efficiently as possible now?" Pace and time pressure are insane, so if you are looking for a quiet place with predictable process-based work, slow growth and laid-back working culture Mirakl is probably a bad choice.
