      Definitely startup culture

      Pros

      Single department management is good. Good work culture and friendly to remote workers

      Cons

      Due to it being a startup, current solutions for tools are minimal and scattered. Nothing is setup properly and lack of documentation ends up meaning you take up a lot of your time reaching out internally about systems that should have had documentation.

We are working on that with each department and we have made strides, but of course there's more to do.       Pros

      Working at Mission feels like winning the lottery. I get to work fully remote (they allow in-person too and part-time in person as well if you hate remote). I get to work with kind and compassionate people, who at the end of the day are very hardworkers. The CEO, Simon, is awesome! He is such a nice guy and his all hands weekly really makes people feel heard and reassured. The HR (People and Culture Team) are the best I have seen with a company, the benefits are incredible and they are constantly looking for more ways to make it better for their employees! If you are a learner, looking to continuously be leveling up, you could not pick a better company to come work for.

      Cons

      Work hard, play hard. The work is not insane. It is fair and you are given the responsibility you can handle. There is a ton of feedback for managers and therefore if you feel like you are overwhelmed in any way they have your back. I personally like being challenged and treated with the belief I am capable of the work set before me, so it is a good fit. But, if you are looking for a company or job to phone it in, this is really not the place.

      Pros

      We have a great "Mission Operating System" that takes input from across our teams and defines focused objectives and key results for us to pursue each quarter. We're candid with each other and constructive in our feedback, and we recognize that our people are our assets that our customers experience and get value from - backed by our cloud management software and know-how. As CEO I know everyone in the company by name and ensure that I'm connecting 1on1 regularly via Slack and Zoom to help our people achieve their personal and professional goals. We're also at the forefront of enabling startups, SMBs and mid-market enterprises to maximize the benefits of cloud computing, which is a truly transformational suite of services.

      Cons

      We are well funded by Great Hill Partners, and we have a clear vision for where we want to be in 3 years, but being a startup our team are often doing more than one job (that you'd find in a larger venture). Plus we all work at a fast pace to match our customers sense of urgency in launching new applications so they can out-compete in their category.
