"I could go on and on about the many problems about my experience with mission linen, but I think you get the point and many of my complaints are at my local plant level and not at mission in general (or at least I hope) Things such as FREQUENT paycheck errors, crappy management, verbally abusive and critical, you could not take off sick days even though you had them accumulated( that way when you quit you lost them all), the GM breaking written contracts with customer by raising the pre negotiated prices (in writting) and Also severe dishonesty by trying to charge customers for losses then didn't have so they could meet their quota for loss and abuse." Pros

Good products, good service and fair pricing. If you work hard you can make a good income.

Cons

Lack of training and each plant is run by a manager the way they want to run it. This company has been around a long time and should have processes in place, but unfortunately it seems as if they reinvent the wheel at every opportunity. Some plants have excellent GM's and there is a program in place to hire quality people, but unfortunately some are still ran by tyrants, and all of them are only as good as this years numbers. Job security at this company is reserved for a very select few. Unless you work in the plant you have no career growth opportunities.

Pay is good. Flexible work schedule. Great to be out and about talking to people everyday.

Cons

Bad business to be in with todays economy. Businesses are trying to survive and uniforms are not a necessity. Also, plenty of competition that WILL beat your prices. Sure you can try to sell the whole service thing but in todays world its all about the bottom dollar.
