Pros

Great pay. Good work/life balance. Lots of autonomy. Sure was nice while it lasted.

Cons

Aside from the leadership team, this company is split into a few different factions. IT, customer support/sales, and clinical employees. The clinical employees are hard-working medical professionals who generally appear to like working here. Their leaders are thoughtful, do their job well, and are probably completely unaware of how the C-level folks are quickly ruining this once great company. The C-Level Team is a downright disaster. Poorly managed at the topmost level, which filters down into everything the IT Team does. There is absolutely no direction given to them. Priorities change at the drop of a hat. The Product team (literally one person) is constantly trying to keep their head above water because no one seems to be able to create a strategic vision and carry it out. The former CEO (Shulman) had a healthcare background, and genuinely seemed to have the best intentions at heart. But, he put his trust into an executive team that had absolutely no idea how to carry out his vision. The new CEO (Wolf) is a typical "grow the revenue by any means necessary" type. I give him 3 years before he moves on to destroy another company. He clearly had an agenda when he joined and his first order of business was to lay off the entire development team. That team worked tirelessly for two years to roll out a new generation of applications. Nights and weekends where necessary. And then three months later, almost to the day, the thanks they got was a load of pink slips. And this was after promising them that there would be no layoffs about a month prior. Word to the wise, do not join this company if you want long-term employment.

Pros

There was good work life balance at times.

Cons

The new CEO Todd Wolf fired the entire development team to switch to a SAAS model. Todd assured everyone that there would be no layoffs when he took over in February, but continued to fire a large portion of the company in late June. There is a lot of uncertainty and false promises with this company, so I would stay clear if possible.
