Pros

I’d you hate being a decent, sane individual, definitely apply. Easily the most stressful, thankless and toxic environment I’ve ever worked in

Cons

Raises don’t even touch cost of living, if you get a raise at all. Meanwhile they raise the labor rate every couple months and charge 100% plus on parts, bonuses are directly based on how badly you can gouge the disabled community and if they feel like you’ve gotten it too often enough, will change the criteria to make it much more difficult to attain. Shop hours are all fabricated and manipulated to squeeze as much money as possible from folks. Discouraged from taking lunch breaks, Write ups for nonsensical infractions that your direct manager can’t even explain. Nepo babies can do whatever they want. Poor leadership at the Akron store, racism/sexism amongst managers, exceedingly toxic work environment, clients treat us badly and corporate just wants more, more, more

Pros

You truly do have the ability and the authority to make things happen for clients. You are able to be a genuine source and/or part of the solution of an issue for your clients. You get to spend actual time with clients and become friends. In many cases you will become a part of their extended family. Making decisions and being held accountable for your decisions is large part of the job. If you can justify your actions with a reasoned thought process then you will be rewarded. You have support from across the company to get your job done.

Cons

The overall new employee training relies a little to much on videos and reading forms. This is especially true on the tech side as it seems to be assumed that everyone knows everything about computers, apps, networking systems, etc. Your success and growth will depend on your ability to seek out and obtain the answers to your questions. Your success also depends on your initiative to discover what you don't know and to find the right sources to give you the needed information.
