Pros

Great location. Great coworkers. Great benefits to compensate low pay.

Cons

Absolutely fake-nice supervisors and directors. Too much drama. Low pay. Overtime policy. Moda charges you quite a lot of money for parking.

At Moda, we believe that we’re never better than when we work together. We agree that we have great co-workers and benefits! With that in mind, we strive to grow our company management in a way that supports our core values (these include community, integrity and flexibility). We are working to improve communication between upper management and our employees. While we are confident we have made strides in this area, we are not finished. Our goal is to build a reputation for quality, service and innovation at all levels of the company. We appreciate your sharing your perspective, because employee feedback like this helps us advance our mission to be better, every day. Thanks again!

Pros

Positions in various departments are always available.

Cons

Pay is seriously too low. PTO can only be taken after 90 days hired, limited to 12 per year. 30 minute lunch breaks are a joke.

We’re sorry to hear that you felt as though your PTO , Pay and breaks were not satisfactory. We periodically evaluate compensation and benefits. Beginning this year, we have increased our first year of PTO from 12 days to 15 days based on our market analysis. Regarding breaks, each department determines lunch breaks based on business need and some departments do elect a 30 minute lunch break to ensure we can meet the needs of our members. Employee feedback like your helps us advance our mission to be better, every day, for the customers we serve and the employees who make Moda a great place to work. We appreciate that you shared your experience with us, and we will continue to work to make improvements. Thank you for your valuable comments!

Cons

Low wages for the amount of stress you go through daily. Discounts to major brand company's do not apply to Alaska employee's, $60 monthly parking, No advancement in Alaska. Oregon policies are different from Alaska. Alaska empolyees are let go frequently. Family medical leave doesnt apply to Alaska employees. If you call out because your kids are sick. Its one point . Their's a 7.5 point system. To earn a point back it takes a year. Performance is based on adherence. You take an average of 46+ call's daily back to back. You calls are listened to and your available time is watched all day. Monthly meeting's consist of your adherence. Poor training with the policies, and system.

We’re sorry to hear that you felt as though your opportunities in Alaska were limited. We appreciate the input and employee feedback like your helps us advance our mission to be better. Regarding our attendance tracking and adherence, we also appreciate the feedback. Running a business is a balance between ensuring flexibility in supporting our employees and also ensuring that we have parameters in place to make sure we meet our customers needs. We feel it is necessary to have limits on the amount of absences and time away from the phone to be able to provide exceptional service. We appreciate that you shared your experience with us, and we will continue to work to make improvements. Thank you for your valuable comments!
