Modern Animal is, without a doubt, the most welcoming place I've ever worked, in or out of the veterinary industry. I never felt I needed to "prove myself" as is usual for new employees in other clinics. Feedback from employees is taken to heart and thoughtfully considered. Management does a good job in recognizing individuals and teams for a job well done on a regular basis. As a small business Modern Animal is able to enact changes quickly when needed. Everyone, from the CEO to the doctors and technicians, to the kennel attendant deal with change positively, and are always willing to learn and grow.

Working at Modern Animal has honestly been one of the most positive experiences of my career. People here truly care (about the animals, the members, and each other) and that makes coming to work feel meaningful in a way that’s hard to describe. Leadership has felt really steady and thoughtful lately, and you can tell they’re trying to do right by both the team and the business as we grow. The overall vibe is that we’re all in it together, trying to make something better for the veterinary world. I feel lucky to work alongside such kind, mission-driven people.
