Moffitt Cancer Center reviews

They are all about who you know and how close you (or your manager) is with the senior management. I call it "Big Boy's Club" (and I have 7+ years of experience to support that statement). Also, your pay will very much depend on that too (I know people got paid 20% more for exactly the same position, because their boss was close to the "Big Boys"). They say that there is "market analysis" to support the pay which is true, but of course there are endless ways to bend that truth if need be.

I had two interviews/meetings with hiring managers for a Research Coordinator Position at Moffitt Cancer Center. Afterwards there was little to no communication regarding the opportunity from HR or the hiring managers. I called several times to multiple people following up about the position and everyone was considerably rude. HR did not give me the time of day and whenever I actually got a hold of a manager, they spoke to me as if I was inconveniencing them trying to get more information on a position THEY called me in previously for. I declined the offer I received from there months after a decision was supposed to be made considering they wasted a lot of my time, and I regret applying there. Luckily I received an offer from USF, who was much more informative and professional to work with. Overall it was an awful experience and I will gladly tell any peers I have who potentially would want to work at Moffitt to not bother wasting their time.
