My happiest day at Moffitt, was walking out on my last day.

Cons

If you read about the Dark Triad and want to experience it along with all ten personality disorders at once, go work in Research at Moffitt. This is a great place to see leaders whose leadership skills are completely lacking collectively and subpar individually. Discrimination, bias, workplace bullying, retaliation, micromanaging, gaslighting, zero transparency, favoritism, nepotism, unprofessionalism, abusive behaviors, toxic environment abound. Human resources is vile and a huge part of the problem. Talk to an employment attorney before complaining to HR about anything. Before working there, research by reaching out to someone working currently in the area you are interested in on Linkedin and ask them for the truth about working there. Do not believe the good reviews. Work there at your own peril.

Pros

Working to find a cure for Cancer is a noble cause. Center Director is a fine Director/CEO, cares for employees.

Cons

Nepotism reins. Husband/wife, mother/daughter, children, BFF's. Hires are mostly because they have a connection. Unqualified managers hire those that are a good fit for them and not for the institution. Key positions reserved for favorites. Managers hire supervisors they can manipulate and are never held accountable. Scientists are brought from abroad and then they hire scientists and their families too. A diversity department that you never hear from and the same with organizational development.

I loved caring for the Patients and benefits were ok.

Cons

HR Department is so terrible, unless you are high up in the ranks, your opinion does not matter. They will terminate you for no good reason even lies. as i have said your voice dose not matter. You are not safe working here. My advice, dont invest years with this company !
