Pros

Remote options for certain positions.

Cons

No proper onboarding for new joiners: I've been here two+ years and there has been no improvement since I joined. Horrible leadership across the business level and Digital org; no progress is made on priorities, priorities are the same year after year, The Digital organization is a disorganized mess that doesn't understand what "Digital Transformation" looks like. The amount of attrition is the highest I've ever seen. They select software that do not meet the needs of the organization, ignore employee feedback, rush "improvements" that end up not working leading to loss of employee confidence, decreased efficiency and productivity (oh and they blame the project teams instead of leadership taking accountability on their decisions." Fake values: The parent company of Molex is Koch which has 5 key principles. They sprinkle these "principles" into messaging but leaders use these more as buzz words when "volunteering" employees to take on more and more initiatives outside of their scope of work. You also get charged $25 a paycheck if you don't complete a wellness check with your doctor. I recently moved and haven't established a new doctor yet. I think that is absolutely deplorable. Long of the short: this is not an "employee first" company. Find a company that cares about its people.

Pros

The people are what kept me at Molex for 25+ years. The campus is beautiful and has a great fitness center.

Cons

Sadly the current leadership doesn't make up for the great campus. Molex was built by leaders who were willing to roll up their sleeves and work alongside anyone in the organization, regardless of their position. The current genre of leaders doesn't want to get their hands dirty. They sit in their ivory tower with little to no knowledge of what actually goes on in the organization. They change their vision regularly in the hopes that they will eventually get it right. Many directors & VP's work remote (at least in the Digital Organization) because they don't live in Chicagoland area, but mandate to others that they must be in the office at least 3 days/week... very much a "do as a I say, not as I do" company. It is a hierarchical & bureaucratic organization. They tout "Principle Based Management" but don't practice it in day to day management.
