      Pros

      Flexible hours, lots of work to do, some fun people to work with, no shady business practices, ability to find a niche.

      Cons

      Lots of work to do, often requires overtime, most of the engineering managers make better engineers than managers, lack of flexibility on methods of completing tasks, lack of group discussion to come up with a solution to a problem.

      Pros

      The pay & compensation scheme is better than a number of companies in the similar fields. This is the only thing that keeps the employees in this department going, while they can.

      Cons

      Absolutely no work life and personal life balance. Employees in the tooling department usually need to work more than 12 hours a day. Saturdays and Sunday are said to be holidays but leaders will ask employees in this department to come to work either on Saturday or Sunday, or better still both days. So some workers are known to work 7 days a week. Meetings can go on like there's no tomorrow.
