      No Cost of Living Raises

      Pros

      Health Insurance, Life Insurance, 401k, some sites have a gym and cafe.

      Cons

      They do not give Cost of Living raises. They believe if you were hired at a certain salary you should be paid that same rate unless your job changes or you take on new duties far above and beyond what is expected. If you are working in the same position for 5 years, it is very likely you will have the same for 5 years even if the cost of living goes up 12%.

      Pros

      Great opportunity for first-time job seekers; Global exposure to the Industry. However, there are much better companies to consider, in the Industry, that focus on designing and manufacturing cutting-edge technologies.

      Cons

      Molex has changed considerably over the past 3 years and is a sinking ship, unfortunately. Lots of turnover at this time due to shrinking market share, declining revenue and poor management. Koch Industries is not well suited to run a Technology Company, they are best know for Toilet Paper (Georgia Pacific). It is sad to see, what was, such a great company struggling to find an identity. Leadership in this organization fails to see the big picture and lacks execution. Due to the decline and poor moral, I decided to jump ship and align with a more successful company for my own personal growth and sanity.
