Pros

Great company years ago, but major changes in leadership and politics made it an unbearable and discriminatory workplace.

Cons

Discriminatory workplace, poor salaries, hostile working environment. Beware of HR.

Pros

Good benefits, very nice physical layout of work space. Of course, free energy drinks if you are not afraid to drink that stuff.

Cons

If you have children do not accept a job in the International accounting team. The women who run it do not have kids and are not married so they live for work. If you don't have kids but just value work life balance think long and hard. Ask about turn over rates in that team. That will tell you all you need to know.

Pros

Good atmosphere, some awesome coworkers, pay was decent, benefits were great, work wasn't exceptionally difficult

Cons

Nearly impossible to get promoted. I knew people who had been there five to six years who were still trying and failing. Some of the most under qualified people could get promoted over you and you'd still be stuck in the same spot. Pay raises were slim to none. Some of the strangest leadership I've ever worked with who would rather fire employees than use an action plan to improve them. If you can start at monster at a higher position I would recommend them, but that is exceedingly difficult. Frequent travel and indirectly punished if you don't (ex- manager berates you for not going to California for their annual meeting, going out of town, etc.). Ultimately I love the brand and people I worked with but some management (an individual with the initials CC) are out of touch and seemingly sociopaths. The monster family value used to be true but I fear it no longer exists in this company.
