Pros

Medical benefits package is great. The company takes care of your health on paper.

Cons

As a POC don’t expect to be heard. They have a few of us in management, but that’s just to meet the quota. None of them will ever make it beyond middle management to a VP or CEO position. When it comes to being one of “us” you have to come in with the “Yes Massa” mentality because if at any time your work environment becomes hostile, you will not have any support. HR Dept. is a JOKE!!!! They don’t care about non managerial employees nor their working conditions. You’ll have better chances talking your issues out with a therapist than going to them. The pay is not a wage that can support your living so a 2nd job or a roommate is a MUST. Finally, if the person you report to is also African American, don’t assume you have an ally. The term “it be your own people” definitely applies here. So, take it from me. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! They don’t care for we are not their market.

Pros

great atmosphere, really nice people, office location and cool monster swag (if you know the right person)

Cons

the tenured monster employees are not open to change. they hand out manager and director titles not based on work performance but how long someone has been with the company. unless you are on the sales side you will not get paid much, and even still it is not market average. gossip central - its all about who you know here and in some way shape or form, everyone is connected. GOOD LUCK

Pros

Other parts of the company have better leadership and teamwork.

Cons

West Coast Business Unit: Blatant Sexual harassment and abuse. HR knows and chooses to have only managements best interest in mind. Sexist mentality and toxic work environment. Do not support employees with medical conditions. Managers do not have management training or take sexual harassment courses. Embarrassing and appalling for such a large and successful company.
