Staff on the revenue side. Brand partners think everyone they delegate is like a ticking time bomb. Senior management has huge egos that prevent them with mentoring the younger staff.

Not a great time for reporters

- My coworkers and manager were great, though I can't speak for the rest of the company - Unlimited PTO

Cons

- MB as a whole doesn't seem interested in investing in journalism. Instead, they are focusing on influencer-led content. Reporters are side-lined and AI implementation (beyond just interview transcription) is flirted with in the newsroom. - A lot of the business-facing content, i.e. newsletters geared towards professional working in HR, tech, etc, seems like free PR for companies. That is the content that is most rewarded, which may be disheartening for reporters (it definitely was for me) - Pay discrepancy between reporters - There's been three layoffs in the last year and a half - Leadership can at times seem tone deaf
