Pros
Decent salary, ability to work fully remotely. A few good eggs.
Cons
Two rounds of layoffs (10-15% of org) in three months. The company laid off approximately the same number of people as were hired in 2022. Young, sub-30 CEO with no managerial experience paired with limited managerial experience on the rest of the leadership team. This has become even more apparent as the company struggles to grow (both in size and in revenue). Lack of diversity. POC have been disproportionately affected by layoffs. Emphasis on "fit" within the bro-y environment in hiring. Extreme favoritism in promotions and upward mobility (see above). General day-to-day tension and toxicity that continues to worsen through poor leadership decisions, lack of accountability at the top, and ignorance of broader industry practices and trends.
