Pros

Highly Desireable Pay Structure for Senior Management Complete merit based advancement / promotion structure A level Sales / Management Training Fosters entreprenuerial spirit. Hands on MBA in building relationships with companies / businesses of all different industries and structures from the Fortune 100 to the tech start up to the heavily regulated industry.

Cons

The biggest reasons why people end up not being succesful in stride is that you need to have an entprenuerial mindset. It is not an organization where the "staff mentality" is encouraged.

Pros

They hire pure entry-level salespeople and train from there. I can't think of many places that will offer a better business management training program - from the job, you learn about how companies are organized and how to speak to upper management at companies in different verticals. People are fun, young, and outgoing with strong personalities. Excellent health benefits. Managers (from my experience) provide pretty honest feedback about how you're doing on the job, both positive and negative.

Cons

Salary is low to start and can be difficult to raise, if you don't embrace the job. If you do not have a tough/equally strong personality as your manager, it's easy to get lost in the shuffle. The training is not perfect but is adequate. If you do not want to be in a sales environment, this is NOT the job for you. You can make this job out to be all about the bottom line and making the sale and making false promises, but it is what you make it. I made it about the candidates and building real relationships with both candidates and clients - and I did fine.

Great Entry Level Job for Sales People

Pros

There is a ton of room for growth, if you stay with the company for a while and move up the ranks there is no limit for how successful you can be. It's a very young company and the people that have been there for years as their first job are still with the company making a significant amount of money.

Cons

Being a recruiter is basically a pure form of sales. Recent grads who aren't looking to get into sales as a career should probably not apply. I think there is a certain type of person that is able to thrive in a sales job and if you don't have an interest in it, you probably won't like it/do well.
