Pros

Unlimited pto Wfh & wfh reimbursement Annual trips Great benefits

Cons

The company has become a toxic work environment. I use to love my job at Motus, and I still love the company itself. But certain changes recently has really brought moral and daily motivation down amongst all. Some management there are extremely toxic. Hanging on to old companies mentality and openly bashing new leaders and intentions. It makes the day to day awkward and unbearable & those very mindsets is why the company began to fail to begin with. Clients are consistently dropping, silent layoffs with no heads up for the employees. Some that had been there over 20 yrs. It’s hard to defend a company that could care less what happens to you at the end of the day.

Pros

401k match and unlimited PTO

Cons

Leadership lacks due diligence when making important business decisions, often resulting in wasted resources and projects that go nowhere. There is little accountability for these poor decisions. Company culture is toxic, with a lack of recognition for hard work and talent. Instead, success seems to depend more on popularity than actual performance or contribution. Management tends to focus on self-congratulation, often citing inflated or questionable metrics to justify their actions. This makes it hard to feel motivated or proud of the work being done.

Thanks for sharing your perspective and for all the years you’ve been part of Motus. I appreciate you calling out the positives, and I take the rest of your feedback seriously. The areas you’ve highlighted — leadership accountability, transparency in decision-making, and recognition — are important to get right. We’ve been making strides to strengthen how we communicate the “why” behind decisions, set clearer goals, and ensure recognition reflects real impact and contribution, not just visibility. We’re not perfect, and we won’t get everything right every day, but the commitment is there: to keep improving, to listen, and to make Motus a place where people can feel proud of their work and confident in the culture we’re building together.
