Pros

Cool team building and leaders who do care.

Cons

While the sales leadership is dedicated and was always willing to help us, the sales culture is a losing culture. Almost no one makes their sales targets. Turnover is rampant. The sales targets are entirely unachievable unless you have a top territory, or you have been with the company for three- four years. The leaders take over the sales process because they do not trust the team member or cannot afford to lose a deal. I had my leader, one of the most respected directors, take over my opportunities and lose most of them. if you want to make the SE BDRs, hire BDRs. not tenured professional sellers. Poor pay and lousy comp plan that only started to improve as more people walked out the door.

Should be your last option

Pros

Work from home, but then again most software companies are offering this

Cons

Where to start…sales leadership is a mess. Micro-management is an understatement. You’re basically a glorified BDR; they expect a minimum of 60 cold calls per day/300 per week. If you don’t, you’ll go on PIP. During the interview process, was told 70% of the sales team achieved plan…it’s more like 20%. Leadership expects 1 month sales cycle when in reality it is 3+ months. Big disconnect from C-suite. Compensation is way under market. A lot of churn over the past year…40+ sales folks have left, not including BDRs. Management doesn’t care about you, your career progression; you’re fully expendable. Last business review, C-level called this out. The company is seriously underperforming. Obviously turnover is driving this problem. Product is very niche and deals are being priced lower due to new competitors; no real differentiation. Many people have been here for 10+ years prior to the merger. If you are not part of the inner circle, they don’t care about you.

Pros

Unlimited paid time off! 99% of the company is remote, hosts events often outside of work hours, immediate leadership is amazing and guide everyone to succeed

Cons

Pay could be improved, my position is not remote and requires me in the office daily. Upper management is clueless as to who/what/how anyone does
