You will get really good PTO and insurance.

Cons

Even if I have 3 months of PTO, I couldn't even able to use 2 weeks without getting calls, messages or emails from work. So the 2 weeks of vacation is not a vacation.

1) Union for RNs/NPs (you will need this for protection against the eggregiousness of the hospital and what they make you do), 2) coworkers are talented, hard working, care about patients 3) tuition reimbursement is by credit which is worth more than other hospitals that do total amt per year (however you will pay for this with your soul)

Cons

Management asks you to do more with less, they pit professionals against each other (eg: come contract negotiation time for NYSNA, management tells other professions their salaries will be cut if they raise NRs/NPs salaries. Meanwhile management gets $$$ bonuses)...worse...management tells you to upsell services patients don't need...RUN from this place

patient care goes out the window once money is involved. Leadership forgets about it's employees and demands for people to do more than what they are paid for. You're loyal to a company who doesn't care about your well-being. Be very careful about what you say and who you make connections with. cut throat mentality in social work department
