Pros

- Low expectations - Fully remote - Awesome work life balance - Decent comp & benefits

Cons

Mozilla has been irrelevant for years and only exists thanks to Google's generosity. Lots of tenured, spoiled employees talking about being "mission driven" when the company has virtually no impact in the tech sector. A revolving door of leadership. CEO search took 2 years and was a total joke as they filled internally. Constant reorgs and small layoffs. ZERO ability to diversify from Google revenue. One failure after another. Also the slowest moving company I've ever seen since people live in fear of doing something wrong and getting cut.

Pros

Nice people, flexible work schedule, wide variety of roles

Cons

No direction, no vision. Lost their “north star” years ago. Culty environment and corporate hubris masquerading as a humanitarian organization.
