Lacks a lot

Business Outlook

Pros

- Decent benefits - Remote work - Good brand values and mission

Cons

- Lack of management alignment creates friction between teams tying to achieve the same things in different ways - Lack of transparency and processes for getting things done across teams, meaning things move too slowly and lose momentum quite easily - Lack of drive and ambition across too many dinosaurs working in the company forever. Keeps the company product-centred rather than user-centred. - "Open source" culture often translates into a lack of ownership and defined roles and responsibilities. Projects can become a jungle. Merit goes to whoever has the right friends.

Zero future

Pros

Decent benefits and pay for remote work.

Cons

Mozilla is a rapidly failing company that has been mismanaged for the last 6 years. People are getting fired or laid off if they speak a single negative word about product roadmaps. Most of us have quit in outrage from the company’s direction.
