Work life balance is pathetic. You are TOLD to attend late night calls and be in the office by 9.30 AM next morning.

A person with hardly 2 years experience decides whether a newly joined fresher is to be retained or fired. That person is not competent enough to take such a decision. Freshers who just passed out of college have big dreams and huge expectations. Improve your hiring process, firing is not the right thing to do. I have seen quite a few people being fired very ruthlessly and i don't like it.
