Pros

Engineers are nice to each other, and are willing to help each other out. The team and engineering culture is nice.

Cons

This company is running out of money, and has some of the most inept product management that I have seen in my long career. They push the engineers into gruelling death march projects over pointless features. This has tended to push really good people out (ask how many exits they have had amongst engineers this year). The company's sales numbers are a total joke. Any whiff of a good person / engineer leaving - they posture a *stupendous* deal that has never actually materialized till date. Stay away.

Thank you for your contribution and for your feedback. I am sorry you feel that way but I must respectfully disagree on several points you have made about Nauto. In our monthly All-Hands, we are completely transparent in sharing details of customers we are piloting or closing. We have exceeded recent our sales goals. The suggestion we are running out of money is ridiculous. In addition to generating revenue, much of our large Series B funding from 2017 is still available and our cash position continues to improve. Our product and technology roadmaps are designed to further our competitive advantages, reduce risk for our customers, and save lives. We have deals with Fortune 100 companies and yes, the size and complexity can sometimes entail longer sales cycles and additional product development. This is expected as we build lasting relationships with our customers. I am proud of our engineering culture - how we work, take ownership, and continue to learn together. I have had the privilege to work at several startups (as an engineer and as a manager) on the path to becoming a serious company. It has never been easy, but finally making it, and delivering that game-changing, or life-saving product as it is in our case, has always been worth it.

Pros

The product is really cool and the software is well designed. Free meals at the Playground that are delicious. Some really nice people on staff.

Cons

There doesn't seem to be much passion for the product, rather, lots of people appear to be there to get a paycheck. The head of product and the head of design both left last month after only a year. The CEO doesn't address employee questions at all-hands, just runs out the clock with boring slides. Recruiting is an issue and they're sort of just hiring whoever is available. Company culture is dead and there aren't many perks.
