Pros

Great team work & cross team support Strong leaders Decent hiring practices

Cons

Wildly opaque promotion practices - people are hand selected and jobs created rather than jobs being posted Company has made a huge deal about their new Management Training initiative, with comments about "things you won't have learned in college". Whoever designed the program doesn't really understand the current demographics of the company. As the company has grown, the leadership has remained largely static and aged in place. The people being hired aren't new grads anymore, they're people who seem 'young' to 50 year-olds - so mid-30s and -40s. Programs for 'what you didn't learn in college'? Completely worthless as a development program to this population TERRIBLE vacation policy in the Services organization

Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts and for your candor! I did want to share that the majority of our hires do come to NAVEX Global with less than 3 years of experience in the field for the role in which they are applying. As a result of our multiple acquisitions over the past few years, we also have managers without previous experience that we are committed to developing through the management training program. I also want to let you know that career planning was not abandoned in 2016, however performance reviews were. We absolutely do need to do a better job at ensuring people have clarity around their career path and this is why we are continuing to invest in our Learning & Development function, which will include the release of additional new programs this year. If you would like to learn more about the ideas in motion and provide input on whether you think we're heading in the right direction, I would love to hear from you! Best, Cindy Raz

Pros

Good culture. Great people to work with. Nice, brand new, office in Lake Oswego. Management provides good support. Company events and outreach programs to be involved in the community. President's club trips available for all employees who achieve annual quota. Sometimes, management provides additional perks for top performers. Great support from marketing and other departments to help you succeed. Products are some of the best in the market, but often not the cheapest option either. Overall the company has great credibility in the market.

Cons

Very high sales quotas. Less than 5% of all Account Executives reached 100% of yearly quota in 2016. Despite being a salary position, management requires you to work from 7-5 daily at a minimum. During month end or quarter end, they require more. Turnover is very high in sales. Compensation structure could be much better. Taking time off is very difficult due to very high quotas. They claim they promote from within but they hire from outside a lot more often than internal promotions. Benefits package could be better.

Pros

Working from home was great, the supervisors were helpful, if they didnt know something they would find out and get back to you. The pay was decent.

Cons

Management wasn't very caring of your needs, the needs of the clients were met at the expense of the worker. There turn around rate is unbelievable. The health benefits are too expensive for the amount of money that is paid, especially if you have a family. They always talking about culture and value, but who do they value, they just want to make that almighty dollar.

Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts and for your candor. Our Contact Center operation is definitely a rigorous environment and the 24x7 environment is not right for everyone. The Contact Center can also serve as an awesome stepping stone to other career opportunities. If you would like to learn more about options available, I hope you won't hesitate to let your manager know.
