Pros

Great coworkers that understand the meaning of teamwork

Cons

I feel like the PA/NPs are being pushed out and management feels that residents will take over. There’s a complete disconnect between management and front line workers. Speed is everything and quality means nothing. Your opinion will be given to you. Don’t bother to offer any ideas that don’t fall in with what Admin wants to hear. You are expected to work almost every day and not take any vacation time because that cuts into your productivity which then drops your salary.

Pros

Some very nice coworkers who are willing to help. Somewhat flexible scheduling

Cons

Ever growing detachment and depersonalization from management. Employees now feel disposable, hence a very high turnover rate. The money is low for the cost of living in the area. The health insurance has high co pays and deductibles. Not a good long term option. Lost their route to Magnet status as the nursing staff voted they are not valued .
