Pros

I got to help kids get to the next level to play sports. Company has a lot of potential.

Cons

You can tell which reviews on here are written by NCSA quality control. Management only cares about $. Nothing is ever good enough (coming from someone who consistently hit quotas). They always had a "what have you done for me lately" attitude and do not reward those who actually get the job done. Everyone who works here sees this toxic work environment, but are afraid to speak up because of the threat of being kicked out the door unprofessionally.

Pros

The scouting department is a close group of people who are fun to be around The "sale" is gratifying knowing that you are truly helping someone The job teaches you how to connect with people and build rapport Sales managers have all been successful and know and understand what the job entails It is an easy sale to make and an easy conversation to have The prospecting is all done for you, all you have to do is call families It is fun to talk sports all day for a living Very clear on where you stand day to day matched up against other scouts/head scouts Ability to move up and earn higher commissions within reasonable amount of time Ability to work from home in both positions Paid based on how hard you work Growing company, so new roles are always being created

Cons

High goals and expectations once on a team Numbers-driven and constantly being ranked and stacked up against other sales members Lots of emails sent out Head scouts work nights/weekends which is when most families are home Lots of changes, updates made sometimes making it tough to track certain numbers
