Pros

The company really cares about it's mission and does a good thing for it's clients. You have a chance to advance in the company as it almost always promotes from within. The company hires athletes and athletic-minded individuals creating a fun competitive atmosphere to work in.

Cons

A lot of the managers are first time managers who are still learning how to be effective managers. There's good intentions, but sometimes that doesn't cut it.

Great Company to work at

Pros

The culture here at NCSA is unlike one I have ever seen. I like everyone I work with, and have a lot of good friends here. The benefits here are also second to none - for example, we have a $900 wellness package that can be used on anything from gym memberships to massages. I was lucky to basic health insurance at my last job. Did I mention NCSA paid for me to go skydiving? The leadership team really care about the happiness, fit, and culture of each employee. We are always having lunch brought in, ice cream trucks stop by, and in-house espresso bars set up, just to name a few. The social aspect is great, as well - we have multiple happy hours on the company throughout the year, and great blowouts during the holiday season.

Cons

There aren't many downsides to NCSA. The only con is actually more of a pro - NCSA is growing very fast, but with that growth, is experiencing growing pains, like any normal company. Some employees do not understand this or how it works, and as a result, have a bad attitude towards the constant change. Also, this is the first job out of college for many people here, so they have no job experience to compare this to. I would love to see them at a normal company that doesn't offer half of what NCSA does.

Pros

The mission of helping athletes - who has a job every day they love and can say they are honestly making a difference in someone's life! NCSA's people and the overall culture of the organization is what makes what we do extremely special! We are trailblazing an industry, coming up with cutting edge technology, first class customer service and all driven by the same passion of helping others. NCSA"s employee perks, company social events, health benefits, gym reimbursements, monthly company paid for lunches, flexible working schedule & relaxed dress code are just a few of the many benefits to be on the team. NCSA has been honored in many "best places to work" lists, check out where we stack up (Crain's Fast 50, Best and Brightest, Inc 5000 just to name a few!

Cons

There are no cons to working at NCSA but I would comment that its a growing organization so we are always changing, evolving and innovating and that just might not be a fit for everyone.
