- The company has no clue what they are doing. They keep acquiring companies without any plan of how to handle the products. They've destroyed a well working processes just to match theirs. They've destroyed the products and the companies that they acquired. - NEOGOV has no interest in keeping employees; we are bleeding people left and right and no one cares. Instead, lots of underpaid contractors are hired from overseas, with a huge time difference and a low interest in the product. - The salary is also way under average salaries for tech positions - The work atmosphere has become an ass-kissing culture where a group of people that has prior or long-standing connections blocks any changes/discussions and covers for each other.

1. "consultant" who control the business side has old-fashioned methods and attitude. Awful, I do not understand why Sr. management trusts this buffoon with the roles he assumes. It is frankly embarrassing. 2. No management structure due to the highly-touted "flat structure." In short, no one knows who they work for other than the owner and some employees are killing themselves while others seem to coast with no repercussions as no one notices. 3. Experience is not valued. It is reflected in their hiring. They would rather hire someone just out of school so they can pay cheaply with no regard to quality. 4. Awful office environment. No private space, no where to take a call, even a business call. Open floor means loudness. You cannot concentrate with people shouting over your shoulder all the time. 5. Flat structure means promotions are non-existent. You might get more work, but forget a raise or title change. Prepare to leave with the position you had when you get there. 6. The place is a mill. Turnover is a constant which management accepts as normal.
