Pros

- High profile brand - Good benefits

Cons

- Very political - Favoritism - MySpace nepotism - Arrogant, unqualified, inexperienced "leadership" who don't have digital backgrounds. - "Leadership" is more concerned about their own career paths and being in the spotlight, than looking after the people below them. - No career path (unless you're a product manager) - Too many cooks in the kitchen - Aggressive / bully-like personalities - Chaotic process - Murky roles and responsibilities - Often hire vendors to the do the most exciting work

Pros

Good compensation. Good health benefits.

Cons

BEWARE: NFL.com has adopted the current corporate mentality of periodic layoffs event though they are flourishing economically. They will lay off employees they deem to be in the "bottom 10 percent" even if the employees are productive. Mainly to provide bigger bonuses to management and to put the fear of dismissal in the remaining employees. The new VP is from Myspace and this reflects his ideology. Management is susceptible to brown-nosing and resentful of those who aren't. This used to be a fun place to work at with a dotcom sensibility but has adopted a corporate mentality in the last couple of years and has become a dry, stressful corporate-type environment.
