Thank you for your feedback. Honestly, our executive team and department heads alike are baffled by this posting. Our management, Human Resources and senior leadership teams embody integrity and ethics and work hard to ensure that NFM adheres to all state and federal laws surrounding fair labor practices. We do not condone or tolerate any employee being treated differently based on their background or appearance. Again, we pride ourselves on our culture of inclusion, family, and community and if you have had an experience that goes against this culture, we encourage you to contact our Human Resources team to share your concerns in more detail.
The NFM Lending story is one of creating a work environment where employees feel valued and respected. Our culture of inclusion and community is what has won us the honor of a “Top Workplace” for 5 years running. Our goal is to ensure all employees feel like an equal part of the NFM Lending “Family” -- with no employee treated differently than the other. Addressing your comments about the management team, we believe that the success of our branches comes from the managers’ knowledge, skills and experience. We believe all our managers have the capability to lead and communicate with their team in a way that drives their employees forward and unites their team to create the community environment we boast. In regard to the position, we provide a realistic job preview during the interview process, explaining all duties as clearly as possible as to ensure the employee is a proper fit for the position. As a receptionist, keeping the office professional and presentable to outside guests is a priority and maintaining said office is outlined in the job description.
To “fire an employee without [reason]” is the polar opposite of our progressive disciple process and our commitment to fairness. I strongly encourage you to speak with our HR or management group, we want to address your concerns and give you closure as you move on to other opportunities.
