      Pros

      At time of hire, I was flown to Maryland for hands on training with every single department. This speaks volumes. The Company made an investment in me from day 1. I wasn't thrown at a desk and told to get to work. I was given the proper training and tools to make my transition as pleasant as possible.

      Cons

      I would have liked to spend a little more time sitting with the Underwriters to get a thorough feel on what they like/dislike.

      Thank you for your feedback. Training is important to NFM's employees' success and we make sure our employees have the necessary training to do their job properly.       I've been working at the company for 2 weeks and everyone is extremely nice and helpful. You can tell everyone is happy.

      Office culture, personal growth, charity events, fresh fruit, casual dress, and different flavors of coffee.

      Pros

      NFM is team oriented. You are never alone in the process, and always have someone to turn to no matter how small or large an issue or question may be.

      Cons

      No cons, not even time difference from corporate office to branches would be a problem because the team makes themselves available to assist and prevent issues when they are off duty.
