Pros

If you join the company, that I strongly advise against, you might work with awesome people, but very few left, and the rest will abandon ship in the next 6 months in my opinion, so hurry up. You can learn debugging like a boss, as it is 80% percent of your work... in a lucky week.

Cons

The company has been favoring in-house solutions over standard ones so far for every technical challenge. It looks like there is a privileged bunch of developers who love coding, and job security as well, so they produce custom solutions for everything, of course it seems they only enjoy implementing the happy paths so their code is buggy as hell. The rest of the company tries to clean up the mess. Long story short, you will not learn anything that could be relevant for your long term carrier technologically in my opinion. In my experience, there remained no leadership in NNG where it matters in the classic sense (people who wisely and willingly choose direction, care for their people, and take responsibility when they are mistaken).

Overall decent company

Pros

(I am a former employee, but the Glassdoor review form could not handle that input) - personal development opportunities; hard / soft skill development through mentoring, on-site trainings and online courses - internal career opportunities: ability to retrain and switch positions, whether in the same team/unit, or elsewhere in the organization - constructive performance appraisal system, transparent performance-based bonus scheme - proper work environment: ergonomical workspaces, great facilities/infrastructure - decent benefits, good health insurance - great community and teamwork - flexible work hours for development teams

Cons

- the company has a sometimes overwhelming amount of tech debt, which is usually in the way of innovation; these debts are often not addressed properly, or in time - lack of transparent communication on behalf of upper management (however, there is some progress in this field) - strict limitations on working from home
