NUWAY is a fantastic example of how everything flows from leadership. You have a great model, passionate employees and plenty of people in need to help. Okay, sounds like a recipe for a really special work environment where lots of people can be helped. Except you have management that aren't supportive, they don't listen and seem to enjoy creating unnecessary stress for their employees.
I've seen and experiencing first hand gaslighting attempts by managers. It's always fun when you get express permission to do something and then later get reprimanded by the person who gave you the permission and their boss where you feel like you're in an interrogation and when you can produce the e-mails to show you're right they get offended.
The worst part is you have to show up everyday in that insanity and then try to model for you clients healthy behaviors. I suppose it is a great opportunity for the therapist or counselor to practice coping skills.
