Pros

Maybe other districts have positives but there are none in mine.

Cons

I don't even know where to begin with the negatives of working for NVA. The biggest thing to point out first is the separation between NVA and the local clinic. I loved my staff and doctors at the clinic I worked for but anything to do with NVA was negative. I worked under many different upper management members and they were all the same. Everyone was all talk and no follow through. I was mislead about the position I was hired for. The clinic then was closed within a year. At that time, I was told I would be able to choose between two other NVA clinics in the area. That also was a lie. At the new location, we were told numerous times that we could have building upgrades and even were taken to new locations to look at new sites. Also all lies. The building has a leaking roof and now mold. All we have been told for months is that it is "with the lawyers." Emails to upper management as repeatedly ignored. Despite giving all I have to a clinic, NVA has never shown that they care about those on the clinic level. It is hurtful and I refused to be associated with NVA any longer.

Pros

The work on this team is very important and you will have a direct impact on the business at any level. Your coworkers are (for the most part) really smart people who care about more than just a paycheck. The business model is pretty sound so job security is good.

Cons

Management cares more about themselves than their employees. There is no way to develop here, they just use you. There is no innovation or changing with the times. They just keep doing the same stuff they have always been doing. This used to be a good company, but it has gone downhill since they stopped caring about their employees.

Pros

The pay was OK, salary was on the low end of industry standard

Cons

Management style was micro-managing which leaves employees feeling belittled, instead of empowered
