      Pros

      Passionate people, working for a cause I completely back and believe in.

      Cons

      Work life balance is very shaky, expectation management is pretty poorly done, and top-down communication is non-existent. The upside is there are definitely a few departments where the employees are super happy, I think it comes down to the middle-management.

      Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback on your experience at Natera. Our executive team has gotten together recently to discuss multiple levels of employee feedback that has come in. Out of these discussions have come a lot of initiatives around improved interactions with employees, leadership trainings and clearer communication. Changes like these don’t happen overnight but please know we are working to improve in these areas!

We can only improve our processes when employees who are impacted by them share their experience and work together in creating improvements.

      Pros

      Very fast growing company made up of smart people in an exciting area of medical screening. People working here have deep experience in their fields and are committed and passionate.

      Cons

      Hard to get a consensus on most important action items when working with different teams. Growing this fast can mean people are not all on the same page.

      Thanks for the feedback. We are looking to grow various communication channels to address the changes that come with fast growth. One of the things we are doing is surveying our employee base to discover what topics they'd like to hear from our Lunch and Learn series. We believe that this is a great way for people across departments and teams to find out what other teams are working on, to make connections with colleagues and to foster continued learning and sharing. A connected company is an effective company, and we are always working towards that.
