Pros

Above industry pay and benefits package.

Cons

Where to begin.. to start the company doesn't invest in its management nor employees. The managers in both departments I was in during my career at Nationak General Insurance had no management training what so ever. They throw their management into the ocean and hope they float. Having worked prior for a billion dollar corporation and coming to National General Insurance I and many other employees had a 0% tolerance for ignorance and lack of management skills many of our managers had. There is absolutely 0% of work life balance. While I was on scheduled off on vacation and weekends management would text or call my personal phone asking me to come in or log in from home to work. Unfortunately, they make a SIMPLE and EASY job difficult due to the hostile environment. If you can place a price tag on your inner peace, happiness, and over well-being, I highly encourage you to sign your offer letter. If you have a tad bit of common sense or self respect don't even waste your time going on an interview.

Pros

Really not many except the hours of work and some of the people you meet there.

Cons

Management does not know what is going on they just talk a good game to the customers/lenders and blame the employees for everything. All errors are employees fault. Really sad because employees only do what they are told to do by management. I really don't know how they even stay in business or keep any lenders. Company is very manipulative, they lie, cheat, and will do anything to try and make themselves look good as if it is not there fault. The Fort Worth office is really bad. Career opportunities are for people who know people, a lot of discrimination and sleeping around goes on there it's just bad.

Unethical Enron Like Co

Pros

Temporary job to endure while looking elsewhere.

Cons

Worst treatment for employees but incompetent upper management. Unethically cut benefits but not exec bonuses like Enron or Bernie Madoff would do. The 4 E's are not rewarded. Carrot on a stick. Like others say, no incentive to work for the bonuses of executives.
