Pros

I have now gained the experience at NGIC which will forever serve as a benchmark for what a toxic work environment truely is. The pros, there are none except earning a pay check until you are able to work yourself into a job with another company.

Cons

inept mid to senior leadership with a eye on micro managing everything leadership deflects all responsibility and/or projects blame for the failures onto subordinates If you complain, you are then a target to be fired. leadership relies on fear and intimidation. unattainable goals and unmanageable work levels an outdated & slow claims system every key stroke & phone call is monitored any free thought is crushed & stiffed small yearend bonus & any chance of a potential raise is discretionary & is based on how much your manager likes you

Lies. Toxic. Run.

Pros

Great place to get your licenses. If you like constant feedback and full on micromanaging. This is the place for you.

Cons

Schedule changes from what you were told before you were hired, during licensing, and after training. Your pay is not discussed with you until 2 months into the position. Your mics cannot be muted and your time is heavily monitored. Not following a strict sales script results in failed QA scores which results in 0 commissions. Leadership lacks accountability and will omit information. Only way to move up is be a favorite sales person. There are no opportunities or transfer opportunities. You’re expected to work 50 hours a week by the time you leave training if you “care about your future here”.

Pros

Work from home Looks for employee feedback Advancement opportunity

Cons

Downside of working this position is the expectation that the head claims adjuster must prioritize new claims everyday but also take all their incoming calls from claims clients. I understand assisting individuals that are asking or needing valid information about a claim, but having to respond to the individuals that call 6 times a day to ask for constant claim updates is not conducive to a 8 hour work day.
