Pros

Paid time off and a nice 4 minute walk to the parking lot.

Cons

This job is so stressful. Please, please, please, if you have other options...do not come here. I understand if you need the money but do everything you can to get out of there ASAP if you accept the job. They will over work you and give you extremely low pay for the responsibility. Take your earned degree to a real job.

Pros

Company car, flexability of work schedule.

Cons

METRICS. Many metrics that are out of one's control yet these metrics go into pay increases and overall work performance. High workload, every single day a new process comes out. Hate to take time off to come back to work that will take weeks to catch up on. This line of work is stressful enough without all the added b.s..

Pros

Working in the National General Sales department is a great place to be. Seeing some negative reviews only proves the point that not everyone is cut out for sales. You will find those reviews for any sales job. This is a sales job where coworkers I sit next to on a daily basis are really making 100k+ a year. These are also the people that come into work motivated, they are organized, and they are dedicated sales people. If you have the drive and passion for sales then 100k is not unreasonable to see. The benefits are great. Healthcare, dental, vision, 401k match, and a generous amount of paid time off. Hours can be flexible. If you have an appointment or personal matter you need to handle just let your leader or management know and there's really no troubles. Over time is pretty much unlimited unless it's in the dead of winter. The company is changing all the time (hours, compensation plan, types of products we can sell, etc) which is great because sales can be repetitive and in an environment like that, change is good even if it is just minor.

Cons

The only negative thing I can really say is that there are a couple people on management level that really should not be there. Which I believe at this point the company sees that and im hoping they are going to continue to put in the effort to correct that with some extra training at a very minimum. There is some room to grow in the company, but I believe that some of the promotions are a bit biased and nearly predetermined before interviews are even held.
