Pros

Great benefits, opportunity for growth and to move to other offices

Cons

Last few years lots of reorganization. Two separate times my department was eliminated or moved. In my last role didn't have a manager for 7 months and the new manager didn't know my job. There's favoritism and lots of corporate politics and "playing the game"

Pros

Nationwide is an amazing company to work for and there are a ton of great managers and employees. Everyone is very supportive from the beginning and you undergo an extensive amount of training to make sure you are prepared for your job. The culture and environment are the best part about working for Nationwide.

Cons

The call center environment just was not for me. I came in at a time when managers where changing quite a lot and communication was not the best on updates to policies. I feel this is normally not the case, though.

Pros

-Sponsor you to get your FINRA series 6 -Good benefits. 401k, Health, Pension, Dental, Vision, Discounts on phone, and local places

Cons

-Base salary low -Call center -Say they care about metrics and performance data but it really has no effect on advancing -Can't advance unless you know someone and even if you know your stuff you won't advance -Micromanage. If you don't stick extremely close to your schedule you get scolded -Hire more contractors to get through statement period and then don't bring them on as employees -Use the Fortune 100 list to bring in talent, therefore they don't care if you leave because they are constantly getting new applicants
